Wedding Rentals


Head Memorial Church, built in 1860, was built by Scugog Island's earliest settlers. The Church has recently been restored to its original grandeur. This designated historical building offers a unique setting for wedding ceremonies that is rich in heritage and tradition. The Church and attached Tea Room are available for weddings and small receptions year-round. The Church can accommodate 100 people and the Tea Room 50 people. For evening ceremonies the Church is lit with period oil lamps. The Museum grounds can also be reserved for wedding photos.
  • Summer Rental Fees (June 1st - August 31st)
    Church - $200/day
    Tea Room - $200/day

  • Spring/Fall (April 1st - May 31st and September 1st - October 31st)
    Church - $300/day + plowing charges if needed
    Tea Room - $300/day + plowing charges if needed

  • Wedding Photography Fees
    3 hours - $50

Commercial Rentals


The Museum Village and grounds can be rented for meetings by community groups, commercial filming and photography purposes. Please check with the Museum for rental fees.
